Overview

A taught postgraduate course that conducts research into how global cultural and economic forces influence contemporary cities. The design, functioning and future of urban situations are explored in written, drawn and modeled work that builds on the legacy of twentieth-century urban theory and is directed towards the development of sustainable cities.

This course offers a choice of either starting in September or January.

Entry Requirement

Postgraduate: 2 years Bachelor + 2 year Bachelor or 4 years Bachelor 50%

English Requirement

You need to have a recognized English language qualification to study at Manchester Metropolitan.

The score required will vary depending on the qualification and the area of study you have chosen. If you hold an offer of a place from the University, your offer will give you the specific requirements for your course.

Typical International English Language Testing System (IELTS) requirements are:

6.0 (no less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent for undergraduate courses
6.5 (no less than 5.5 in any section) or equivalent for postgraduate courses

Fee & Funding

EU AND NON-EU INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

Full-time fee: £21,000 per year. Tuition fees will remain the same for each year of your course providing you complete it in the normal timeframe (no repeat years or breaks in study).

Part-time fee: £3500 per 30 credits studied per year. Tuition fees will remain the same for each year of your course providing you complete it in the normal timeframe (no repeat years or breaks in study).
