Overview

Develop your thinking and creativity as we search for the next big step in electronics.

This Master’s in Machine Intelligence builds on the concepts of artificial intelligence and machine learning by creating new systems to provide intelligence. By developing new processing methods and data representations, we aim to establish the next big step in computing. The course considers what lies behind current technologies (e.g. AlphaZero, Siri, Alexa) and equips you to think beyond them – to analyze the needs for future technologies and to create and shape them.

This course offers the opportunity to participate in a highly motivated intellectual environment with research-active tutors and like-minded peers while engaging with cutting-edge technologies. You’ll be immersed in innovative and pioneering approaches to the field and become highly skilled. You’ll also learn to apply your understanding to present and future real-world problems.

Entry Requirement

For entry to our Master’s programmes, you will need to have met the following:

  • Four-year bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 55% for UK 2:2 or with a minimum of 65% for UK 2:1

OR

  • Achieving 2 (or 1) years Masters after 2 or 3-year degree with a minimum grade of 55% for UK 2:2 or with a minimum of 65% for UK 2:1
