Entry Requirements:

Minimum of a second class honours degree in a petroleum engineering, chemical engineering, geological engineering, petrochemical engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, computer engineering, numerate physical sciences, geosciences or mathematics related subject.

Each application will be considered on its merits and the final decision will be made by the course director. For information regarding what might amount to a ‘related subject’ please ask a question.

Graduate Immigration Route visa
Based on current information from the UK Government, students whose study extends beyond summer 2021 may be eligible for a visa under the UK Government’s Graduate Immigration Route, which will enable students to stay and work, or look for work, in the UK at any skill level for up to two (2) years. Undergraduate:

Students must pass the HSSC/FA/FSC with a score of 60% to 65% overall and 65% in maths and physics.

Students must also have an IELTS or Pearson PTE score of 6.0 with 5.5 minimum in each component or 70% in HSSC/FA/FSC.

Students to check prospectus/ website on which course requires Maths / physics/ chemistry.

Associate Diploma in Engineering with an overall 58% or above for STAGE 1 ENTRY in relevant subject area.

Top-Up
Students must complete 3 years of a 4-year bachelor’s degree with 55% overall from a recognised institution.

OR

Students must complete 2 years of a 3-year BA/Bcom/BSc with 60% overall from a recognised university.

OR

(Check University Website to determine 3 year or 4-year degree)

*HND in relevant field with Merit profile (Mostly Merits or Distinctions)

SZABIST – BA International Business (Top-up Year 3 ONLY: For CU Campus
Students should have completed- Stage(s) 1 and 2 at SZABIST.
Students are required to complete a minimum of 60 credits. PASS in all subjects with an average of 60% and above.

BA Global Business Top-up CULC Campus:

Students are required to complete a minimum of 60 credits. PASS in all subjects with an average of 60% and above.

The student must have completed two years full time study, which is the equivalent of 24 modules (72 credits) with an overall CGPA of 60% (2.4)

All other courses will require EM or faculty approval.

Do not refer to Faculty for BA Int Business Top Up (year 2 entry). Assess for another alternative business course for year 2 entry.

Postgraduate

Students must pass a three-year BA/Bcom/BSc with 60% overall from a recognised university.

Students must achieve an IELTS or Pearson PTE score of 6.5 with 5.5 minimum in each component or 70% in HSSC/FA/FSC.

OR

Students must pass 4 years bachelor’s degree with 55% overall from a recognised institution.
Students must also achieve an IELTS or Pearson PTE score of 6.5 with 5.5 minimum in each component or 70% in HSSC/FA/FSC.

OR

Students must achieve 60% overall from a 2-year bachelors and 2-year Master’s degree.
Students must also achieve an IELTS or Pearson PTE score of 6.5 with 5.5 minimum in each component or 70% in HSSC/FA/FSC.

For all LLM LAW courses:

Students must achieve 50% overall pass mark in the end of year/annual exam, mainly from the following Universities in Pakistan:

University of the Punjab
University of Karachi
University of Sindh
University of Peshawar

Students must achieve 60% overall pass mark from other Universities especially as most only complete the semester exams.

Students must have achieved a score in their IELTS or Pearson PTE of 6.5 with minimum 5.5 in each test.

OR

70% in English at HSC.

English as a Foreign Language:

This course requires IELTS of 6.5 overall, with no component lower than 5.5. Pre-sessional English is available if required.
