Academic Entry Requirements:
All entry requirements listed here represent the requirements for entry to the programme that are normally sought. The Admissions Team may assess additional evidence to assess your eligibility however, depending upon your full academic/employment background.
Essential:
UK Honours degree 2:2 (or equivalent) in any discipline associated with the construction and property industry.
Or, corporate membership of a construction of property-related professional body (eg RICS, RIAS, CIOB).
Applicants without a formal degree level qualification or strong qualifications in unrelated disciplines maybe accepted on to the PgD programme subject to relevant industry experience.
English Language:
IELTS score of 6.0 (or equivalent) with no element below 5.5.
If you do not meet the English language requirements, you may be eligible for the English for University Study programme.
Scholarship:
Guaranteed £1,000 Scholarship
A £1,000 scholarship is available to all self-funded overseas students for every year of their study.
Merit-based country Scholarships
Basis of Award Postgraduate
- £500 for 60% -69%
- £1000 70% or above
Terms and conditions
•These scholarships are administered as fee reductions for overseas students and are awarded at the application stage when an offer of a place is made.
•You are not required to make a separate application for the scholarship.
•These scholarships are only available to self-funded students. You are deemed to be a self-funded student if you are paying your tuition fees yourself or with support from a relative or friend.
No appeals on scholarship decisions (UG and PG) based on borderline marks are permitted.
Early Payment Discount:
If you pay your full fees before your course starts you will receive a 5% discount on your overall tuition fees*.
NOTE :
Minimum course deposit should be received by GCU prior to the 1st August (for September intake) and 1st December (for January intake).
